Facet block

Facet blocks are available by appointment

A facet block, also known as a facet joint block, is a medical procedure that involves injecting a mixture of drugs (usually a local anesthetic and a corticosteroid) directly into the facet joints of the spine (dorsal or lumbar). These joints, located at the back of the vertebrae, are often responsible for chronic back or neck pain. This procedure reduces inflammation and temporarily relieves pain in the facet joint.
